WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL PORTAL OF THE AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND SOCIETY FOR EXTRACELLULAR VESICLES (ANZSEV)
There has been a surge of interest in extracellular vesicle (EV) and cellular communication research over the past several years, both globally and in Australia and New Zealand. EVs are membrane-bound particles (including large and small vesicles such as exosomes, microvesicles, apoptotic bodies) released by cells, that contain proteins, nucleic acids and lipids and thereby appeal to a very broad range of research interests.
Our Vision
To establish an extracellular vesicle community across Australia and New Zealand that promotes the understanding and translation of EVs through national and international collaboration.
Our goals include dissemination of research and establishment of both a professional and social network and to create a common platform for members interested in EVs and nanoparticles.
